Lost In The Draw
Lost in the Draw follows Leo, a disillusioned office worker whose world is upended by the sudden death of his friend Angus in a kitchen fire. In the wake of tragedy, Leo stumbles upon traces of a forgotten dream: a bizarre lottery where every ticket guarantees a winner. What begins as a quiet grieving process spirals into a surreal journey through grief, chance, and self-discovery.
I wrote and directed the film as part of my university final project, aiming to push narrative form while maintaining a strong emotional core. Lost in the Draw is about finding something new in the middle of what feels like the end; strange, sad, and maybe even a little hopeful.
