The Ideas Festival

The Ideas Festival is Manchester Metropolitan University’s annual celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship, spotlighting standout ideas from students and recent graduates across all disciplines. With expert-led workshops, mentorship opportunities, and funding prizes, the festival helps shape early-stage ideas into future ventures.

In 2025, I was selected as a finalist at the Ideas Festival with my creative studio, Steenlight Studios. After progressing through development workshops and mentorship sessions, I had the opportunity to pitch at the grand final alongside other emerging innovators. I was awarded £250 in funding and a year-long mentorship to continue growing the vision behind Steenlight Studios. The experience has been a pivotal moment in shaping the next steps of my creative and business journey.
