DoNotDisturb FM Club Nights

Over the past year I’ve worked closely with DoNotDisturb FM to capture the atmosphere of their club nights and live events across Manchester. Shooting primarily with my Sony FX3, my approach focuses on immersing the viewer inside the energy of the room, favouring handheld movement, intimate crowd moments, and reactive camera work that mirrors the rhythm of the music.

Rather than simply documenting events, the goal has been to translate the feeling of the night into short, high-impact visual pieces designed for social platforms. This involves working in unpredictable lighting conditions, navigating packed dancefloors, and responding instinctively to the movement of the crowd.

Following our initial collaboration at Stage & Radio, the partnership has continued to grow, with further shoots taking place across Manchester, including a recent event at CUPRA. The success of the content has led to ongoing collaborations, with multiple upcoming events already scheduled.

Through this work I’ve developed a visual style that embraces the imperfections of live spaces, letting the camera move like another person in the room, capturing the fleeting moments that define a night out.
